Pillar Hydrant

EMACO identifies the Pillar Hydrant as a external hydrant point that makes the underground or site fire-water network accessible to hose lines for fire-protection installations. Select the approved or standard model according to the project specification, local fire-service connection and site pressure. Connect to a protected ring main, provide drainage and impact protection, and maintain clear access for fire appliances and hose operation. The wet-barrel arrangement remains filled and pressurized under normal conditions, with two independently operated landing-valve outlets above ground. EMACO lists a cast-iron body with a 100 mm inlet and two 65 mm outlets. Procurement needs more than a catalogue title: record the exact model, approval, materials, rating, connection and supplied accessories. Site work, commissioning and periodic maintenance must follow the approved system design and data sheet.
