The EMACO Fog and Spray Nozzle serves as an adjustable bronze hose nozzle that controls discharge from shutoff through fog patterns to a straight stream for manual fire-fighting operations.

Engineering overview

EMACO Fog and Spray Nozzle is a manually operated discharge nozzle for controlling the pattern and reach of water from a fire hose. The nozzle provides shutoff, adjustable fog and straight-stream positions in a cast-bronze body. EMACO lists 40 mm and 65 mm models for hose-rack, hose-reel and standpipe service, with NST or NPSH female inlet threads. Select size and flow from the hose diameter, available pressure, required reach and the operating capability of the intended users. Match the inlet thread to the hose coupling and ensure the pump and piping can maintain the required residual pressure at the nozzle. The approved submittal must state the exact model, listing or approval, material, pressure or capacity rating, connection and included accessories. Install, commission and test it to the project design, selected datasheet and applicable fire-protection standard.
