Engineering overview

EMACO Fire Hose Reel is a manual fire suppression equipment installed in commercial, industrial, and public buildings. It connects directly to a pressurized fire water supply line. A semi-rigid rubber hose is wound onto a heavy-duty steel drum. Water flows through the central hub into the hose, allowing for discharge without needing to uncoil the entire line length. On automatic models, pulling the hose turns the drum and opens the internal water valve automatically. On manual models, the user turns on an inlet valve before pulling the hose. The adjustable nozzle allows the operator to control the water stream from a straight jet to a wide fog spray.

The calculation and installation conditions set the selection. Select the 19 mm or 25 mm model by the approved hydraulic design, required flow, available pressure and local code. LPCB and standard versions are listed.
Keep the operating route and maintenance access clear. Connect the reel to a continuously available fire-water supply and position it so the hose can reach the protected floor area without obstruction.
Check the offered configuration line by line against the specification. Confirm model, approval, hose diameter, 30 m length, 12 bar working pressure, 18 bar test pressure, mounting arrangement and required inlet valve.
