Double Jacket Hose

In the completed system, EMACO Double Jacket Hose acts as a reinforced fire hose for higher-duty water delivery where abrasion resistance and mechanical protection are important. Use compatible couplings, avoid torsion during connection and provide storage that allows the hose to dry after service and testing. Two polyester jackets protect the EPDM or polyurethane liner and provide more durability than a single-jacket hose. EMACO lists BS, NST and other coupling configurations for municipal, industrial and brigade service. Select the hose diameter and coupling from the required flow, friction-loss calculation and outlet connection. Double-jacket construction is appropriate where hoses face repeated deployment or rough surfaces. Do not approve a substitution on a product name alone. Check the exact model, listing, material, rating, connection and accessories against the submittal, then install and test the equipment to the project standard.
