Portable Foam Fire Extinguisher

EMACO Portable Foam Fire Extinguisher is a hand-portable extinguisher that discharges aqueous foam to cool Class A materials and blanket Class B liquid surfaces. EMACO lists 6 kg and 9 kg portable foam models. The foam layer reduces vapor release and separates the fuel surface from air, while its water content provides cooling. It is not intended for cooking-oil fires. Select capacity and fire rating from the liquid hazard area, Class A fuel load, travel distance and compatibility with the stored liquid. Mount in a visible, accessible location and prevent exposure to temperatures outside the stated range. The approved submittal must state the exact model, listing or approval, material, pressure or capacity rating, connection and included accessories. Install, commission and test it to the project design, selected datasheet and applicable fire-protection standard.
