Upright Sprinkler

Used within a fire-protection system, the EMACO Upright Sprinkler functions as a automatic heat-responsive discharge device for sprinkler piping installed below exposed ceilings or structure. Select response type, temperature rating, K-factor and finish from the hazard classification, hydraulic calculation and ceiling conditions. When the thermal element reaches its rated temperature, the sprinkler opens and water strikes the upright deflector to form the intended distribution pattern. EMACO lists standard-response and quick-response versions designed for NFPA 13 installations. Install in the listed orientation with correct spacing, clearance and obstruction control. Use the specified wrench and protect the thermal element from damage. Before purchase, lock down the model, approval status, material, rating, connection details and supplied accessories. The installed assembly must follow the approved drawings, product data and governing fire-protection standard.
